Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for SSC JHT, Junior Translator, or Senior Hindi Translator must ensure they meet the educational qualifications and age limit.
1. Educational Qualification
Junior Hindi Translator / Junior Translator
-
Master’s Degree in Hindi or English with English or Hindi as a compulsory subject or medium of examination at the degree level.
OR -
Master’s Degree in any subject with Hindi and English as compulsory/elective subjects or medium of examination.
AND -
Diploma or certificate course in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa
OR -
2 years of experience in translation work in Central/State Government offices.
Senior Hindi Translator

Master’s Degree in Hindi or English with the other language as a compulsory subject or medium of examination at the degree level.
AND -
Diploma/certificate course in translation
AND -
3 years of experience in translation work in Central/State Government offices.
2. Age Limit (As on 01.08.2025)

Selection Process
The selection process for SSC JHT 2025 involves the following stages:
1. Paper-I (Computer Based Examination)
